What is Vietnam e-visa?
Vietnam E-visa is a form a valid visa to Vietnam in .pdf format, issued directly by the Vietnam Immigration Department online. It is valid for up to 30 days and allows its holders to enter Vietnam without following any further visa formality.

You can see that there are several ports that let you enter Vietnam with an e-visa. However, you must enter the country via the one provided on your Vietnam e-visa. Otherwise, you will need a new one to enter the country.
Vietnam e-visa requirements
In order to get an evisa to Vietnam, you need to ensure the following requirements:
- You have a passport valid for at least 06 months from the expected date of entering Vietnam;
- You have credit/debit card to make payment online;
- You have scan of your passport page and photo that meet the requirements.
How to get Vietnam e-visa
It’s very simple to get an e-visa for Vietnam by strictly following 3 steps below:

- Step 2: Pay the e-visa fee;
- Step 3: Check the e-visa status in 3 working days, download it and then print it out to enter Vietnam

Vietnam E-visa Fees & Processing time
An e-visa for Vietnam costs you 25 USD (per person). However, no matter your visa is issued or not, no matter your evisa is right or wrong, this fee will not be refunded.
It normally takes 03 working days to receive the e-visa letter; however, the processing time may be affected by a large number of applicants or public holidays. As such, you should consider applying for this kind of visa 1-2 weeks before departure.
Vietnam e-visa validity
The Vietnam e-visa validity starts from the entry date provided on your e-visa and ends on the exit date thereon. It can be extended for a further 1 month each time.
